Didn't I Shower you with affection? Didn't I Offer every sweet confection? Didn't I Write you pretty love songs? So tell me please... Where did I go wrong? Didn't I Soothe away your pain? Didn't I Shelter you from the rain? Didn't I Declare my love every day? So tell me please... Why did you go away? Didn't I Tread softly in your dreams? Didn't I Mend our love at the seams? The more I read your poems the more I see the pain you are/were in, I like this one alot (along with all of your other ones)especially the last verse. I like repetitive poems that draw you into a daze and then smack you in the face at the end, great work! ------------------ #5 Poetic Society |
