Oh sweet Balladeer please take note
that on my words I wish I'd choked.
My intention was to hurt no one
cause I for one enjoy the fun.

What I was simply trying to say
was that sometimes to my dismay.
It seems the ones that work so hard
are the ones that go the extra yard.

You seem to have such busy days
and forced to keep up poetic praise.
I was hoping I could stun the masses
and force them to get up off their ***es.

Perhaps in poem I should have stated
that responses by dumpers are belated.
Your right they come and dump some words
and expect great praises to be heard.

The names you mentioned in your response
seem to be taken for granted with nonchalance.
Your responses to my poems I hold near
please forgive me this poem sweet Balladeer.

The intentions of my rhyming verse
was not to make you shout and curse.
I meant to have the masses told
to help lift some of your heavy load.

The moderators have lives too
and I was thinking just of you.
Hoping I’d lift weight off your replies.
So you’d have time to slam those guys.

I see my poem was taken badly
and for this reason I will sadly
Close my big mouth and quietly sit
and try to pull my foot from it.

Oh, Lucie dear please listen here
I didn't mean to blow my stack
My answer was a tribute to
The patience that I lack.

I feel I know you very well
Through messages we send
And I know you would never mean
To intentionally offend.

I'll forgive you - you..me,too
And let's both keep in touch
We both said what we did because
We love this place so much.

I guess we have all chewed a shoe
At one time or another
And digesting those tough stinky soles
Can really be a bother. *G*
Be glad it was your own you chose
To nibble on this night
Even a whiff from Long John's sock
Can give you quite a fright!

Great job, Lucie!

It's that shattered one, back again and still shattered...lol

But it is so wonderful to see two people react with affection and passion to what they each think and to leave barbed words out..

I take my hat off to you both...hmmmmm, well, if I was wearing one I would but hat's don't really go to well with .... For the uninitiated it's nearly midnight here..
