Feel the music in your heart Touching softly, t'will impart Upon the soul, heartfelt romance Two joined as one, in sensual dance Passions coursing throughout the night Swaying softly in Luna's light In song's reprise, love's symphony I sought my love, please come to me Sweet song's embrace, deep satin kiss I sought, I found, my mortal bliss But then the dawn, into the night The music fades, in morning's light On final note, so ends the dance As dancers wait for love's next chance To turn away the lance of pain And dance again the sweet refrain. Very nice, indeed, Mike - In response, I can only suggest that you look at the poem posted previously called "Cyber Seas", written by Ron (our gracious host here at Passions - with a repartee from me).... Check it out [This message has been edited by Nan (edited 06-20-99).] |

I thought the first one of yours was excellent. This one is at least its equal, if not better. Nice work! |

Mike, It took me a while to find this, but I must say, it was well worth my search. This is a wonderful posting. The rhyme is very tight and the flow is like a gentle stream...so soft it just takes you right with it. |

Fabulous piece man! Makes me want to dance with you! You can dance, right? Beautiful rhyme and flow....it's hard to keep that and still say what you want eloquently...~blowing kisses~ ------------------ - poet FemmeFatale "The strongest man in the world is he who stands most alone..." I dance in luminescence of Luna's crescent, In the arms of a goddess, from heaven sent. Aye, I will dance with you as I caress your silken delight, As in your arms I sway enraptured, from dusk until the morning's light. [This message has been edited by Mike (edited 08-14-99).] |

I glide across the ballroom floor, as band begins to play, Take you gently in my arms, As dance to love's ballet. Gershwin love songs fill the air as new dance has begun, I feel your warmth in our embrace as two now dance as one. Through the night til rising sun I hold you in my arms, Dancing in our lover's waltz, Entranced by music's charms. Music calms the savage breast, but dance doth charm the heart, Forever in our lover's waltz, With dance we ne'er will part. |

It flowed like a song ... exquisite. I'll have to tell my love to read this one; it almost wouldn't be a stretch to dance to it ... Well done. ------------------ "Nunc lento sonitu dicunt, morierus" (Now as I hear this bell tolling softly for another, it says to me, "Thou must die.") |
