This poem was inspired by a friend who I've grown close to who fell in love with another.
Another love not me...

It hurts me to see you love,
to love a love not me.

You tell me how she makes you feel,
she makes you fel complete.
You even say she makes you whole,
and knocks you off your feet.

You confide in me your love for her,
The emotions that you feel.
You say you can't control yourself,
You feel the love is real.

But your afraid to love, a love anew,
Because you were hurt in the past.
But I know best, you'll be okay,
and I hope your love will last.

Yet deep in my heart, I hoped it was me,
The one of which has stole.
Your heart, your love, your care,
The one that made you whole.
