just as you begin to drift off to sleep..... bite.....bite.....bite..... gnaw.....gnaw.....gnaw..... munch.....munch.....munch..... they're at it again; chewing away at you from the inside out. all those things you told yourself you'd do today..... And Didn't! all those chores you knew you should have done..... And Put Off! Again! and now they're at it again..... just as you begin to drift off into the safety of sleep..... bite.....bite.....Bite..... gnaw.....gnaw.....Gnaw..... munch.....munch.....Munch..... Absolutely right, Sharon. They do gnaw....and to write a poem about it is very imaginative. |
