Skin glistens in the heat
Hips sway to the seductive samba beat
Laughs fill the air, couples dance
Their eyes locked in a lover's trance.
Hands meet, their bodies press
She in her red strapless dress
He leads her around the dance floor
Twirled and swayed her pulse soared.
Perfectly in rhythm, fevered by the night
Their every move felt just right
His hips welcome the cadence of hers
To the music their energy endures
To the small of her back, his hand slips
Holding her close, a smile on his lips
All the excitment but the night's still young
The first dance had just begun

Moonlight,
This is excellent work, exactly what I have come to expect from you.

thanks everybody!
I was listening to an instrumental song on my new Santanna single and this poem was my little "video" to the song... hehe
