Her face meets the breeze On a deep summer night. And like a ghost upon the water Her voice beckons the maestro, moonlight. The waves crash around her in applause And her dress presses to her form The ocean song begins On a July night so warm. The dark, black sea - her audience - Quiets under the night sky. The Moon spotlights her face- There's such a twinkle in her eye. With each breath of salty air Her voice becomes so clear She is a preformer of the night Under the stars she shows no fear. ------------------ www.auburn.edu/~fergum1 ~*Only when it is dark enough can you see the stars*~ |

Wonderful vision, moonlight. We can easily imagine ourselves onstage while standing at the rail on the water at night. Star among the stars. |

Very eloquent, with a touch of romanticism... Can I have her number...??? ------------------ Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll be among the stars. -Unknown- So let the sun beat down upon my face, It's warmth will dry my tears. |
