Today I got a surprise When I looked in His eyes From this man I know I met years ago He came to see How I would be He missed how we used to chat About this and that He missed my grin And His beloved frien' All of our long talks And wonderful walks How He watched When things I botched Shaking His head Wishing I had listened at things He had said Always loving me Helping me see Many hugs Lots of tugs Through it all We had a ball I love Him so Just wanted Him to know I had not forgotten Because He is the Begotten! 5/16/1999 BDV ------------------ |
