God was very clever The way he created us, If we use the things we have, We surely have enough. If you tend to be opinionated, I think that you will find, Much more can be accomplished, When you keep an open mind. We have two eyes to see, The beauty from above The sense of "touch" for feeling, And a heart that feels love. God gave us one mouth for talking, Two ears to hear birds sing, I guess we should listen twice as much, Before we say a thing. Be proud of being assertive, But use this gift with care, Being assertive is not uncommon, But good listeners are very rare. |

ever noticed...many speech classes are offered at uni, but i have yet to see a listening class  ------------------ one night at the airport...Childhood Memories...your countenance...eight short weeks...My One and Only...Music to my Ears...hoarse whispers...just watching tv...Feel the need?...serving wench...Tribute to M.J....take a guess...sink or swim ...stolen hours...the mistress...Perfection...a little girl...Mr. Jones...life is like...insomnia...devotion...07-20-69...craving... Master...chat?...apart...plain...vice...shameless self promotion |

Your message is oh so true. Well Done! What is said is one thing. How it is heard is open to a thousand different interpretations and thus, requires a good ear to know its true meaning. I was a com major in college and this piece of yours brought flashbacks of communication theory. Thanks for sharing. |
