Tell Me, What good are the walls you have built, along the inside of your soul? They shout in a voice as yet unborn in sound. Still, It is there, I hear it... Tell Me, What good are the walls you have built, along the outside of your soul? Tears are the reflection of pain. Your eyes glisten with tears which have yet to be brought to life. Yet, They are there, I see them... Tell Me, What good are the walls you have built within? They can neither contain you, Nor protect you... They can neither save you, Nor condemn you... In the face time and presence, What good are the walls you have built? If the only reason for them to be, Is that you put them there... Tell Me... ac, this poem sets a true, realistic mood and the construction is ideal. I can almost hear a man's voice softly speaking the words. A job well done. |
