I'm waiting for the moment you look in my eyes, To see that you love me without paying the price. You laugh, and we smile, and we share in our ways, but I can't force the issue it is you that must pay. To hold your hand is all that I need. To lay next beside you and see you plead. For you to want me in a memorable way, and beg for my love, and ask me to stay. But instead I wake up with a memory of you and I start to wonder if you are true. And then I realize you have what you want. A fool, and a cheater and my heart. |
