What I wouldn’t give to stand beside the man whose words can come alive, the one who touches deep inside the me that no one sees. What I wouldn’t give to share a thought with the man whose poems cant be bought, the one who teaches but cant be taught what he means to all and me. What I wouldn’t give to touch his hand the man whose words alone can stand like the ocean that takes away the sand. I hold a piece of he. What I wouldn’t give to let him know the man whose poems touch me so, that even if he had to go that to us he will always be. What I wouldn’t give to share with him the thrill I get when I begin, to read a poem from start to end then cut and paste a copy. We love you Balladeer, please don't ever stop giving of yourself. |

Oh, Lucie. I am overwhelmed!! What a wonderful thing for you to do for me. I am, at last, a speechless Balladeer! Don't worry, Lucie. With people like you out there I will always write and give you the best I can. Thank you from my soul. |

'Deer Dontcha just hate it when you get canonized that way? Now you hafta be a Saint, whether you like it or not. Personally, I agree with Lucie. Lucie I loved the style you chose in that poem. I gotta remember that one! And the words were soooooo smooth - ummmmm - like soft chocolate ice cream. Thanks for that poem! |

I find myself returning to the forum again and again.. I read a few poems then just can't help myself and reread a few of Balladeer's so to save myself the time of having to search for them through the many pages of the forum.. I just cut and paste my favorites ( which I have to admit are all ) and I keep them to read later. I just love your style Balladeer. |

This was wonderful poem. A great tribute to a great guy. It's odd, his words touch you and now yours have touched him. Isn't this what true poetry is: a sharing of ourselves? Anyway, it was great! |
