when sleep is sweet i am weary because under no uncertain terms will i give in... to defeat.. i will trample underfoot the thought alone.. ah! sleep is sweet! sleep is sweet.. and life is great.. when one has simplified the error of ones ways... in spite..of pride. for pride becomes a prison to those inclined to sin.. and forgiveness the antedote to all ill that dwells within.. but sleep is sweet.. it woo's the soul that spirit of unrest.. to cleanse the heart.. confession's power.. renews the life of men. connie s. haynes |
