A marriage made in heaven

LongJohn and Lorelei, in all of their glory,
A marriage made in heaven, like a fairy tale story.
A raunchy old sailor, who's mind seemed so senseless,
Luckily met up with Lorelei the Princess.

Now LongJohn was crude, wild and crazy,
And being a bachelor, was also quite lazy.
But Lorelei knew, that with a little work,
She could make a Prince of this lazy old jerk

She trained him and taught him the best that she could,
To make LongJohn the Sailor, into something quite good.
Now he cooks and he cleans, vacuums and sweeps,
And is much more particular in the company he keeps.

We all show our love in many a-ways,
In things that we do, the words that we say.
Some give flowers, or material things,
Pearls or gold, perhaps diamond rings.

But LongJohn's words-shows where his heart is,
The Love for his Lorelei, and her heart is his.
I've never read feelings, like the ones he confesses,
A love for his Lorelei, the feelings he expresses.

But these two are special, such love they both show...
How Lorelei endures?????...God only knows.

Thanks for the wonderful tribute Toe..shall I confess why I love him so? yes, he does all those sweet things...he has a heart of gold...but really he's *good in bed* (eg)

Lorelei..you make him sound so damn good, I almost want him!!! I think you both are so lucky to have found each other....He is a gem for sure.....can't recall ever meeting anyone that can swap blows with me like he can. Alot of us folks love that old man yanno....
