A Moment

I closed my eyes to shut out the outside world,
and let my mind wander to a place and time.
Going there safely
to a place that only I know of,
but allowing thoughts of another to enter.
Dreaming of things yet to behold.
Wanting to take in only the feeling of his touch.
In my mind, a gentle warmth floods my soul.
A caress so soft upon my face
The warmth of a touch so full of love
I freeze this moment in my mind
Permitting the thoughts and feelings to come and go,
All the while is the feeling of the gentleness in his hands
I long to open my eyes, and look into the face
of the one whom touches my very soul.
Fearful of ending this moment,
I remain in darkness.
I allow the feelings of pleasure
to rise within my heart.
The longing is replaced with desire,
and the wanting with needing.
All in this brief moment of time.
existed a special love with passion
one to sustain me through my lonely days
All in a moment.

I too have seen this place and felt the same feelings. I too keep my eyes closed to cling to all those thoughts.
