Coming to an end This week has been a year Parting now- last final chance Take some Don't be shy--Just buy some Night falls and another mask becomes so different from the one before The city becomes a huge ring with fires burning throughout the towns Mom and dad don't know how untamed I've become The city-a game I play jumping from corner to corner Loading up to become high Landing in the middle Dawn comes together The stars all go up So I must leave Crawl back to my shell Until the Nights air shows once again upon my breathe. ------------------ Kiya Nicole |

I am trying to see a unifying force, other than you, in this poem. What's the point...if there is one. |

I see in this the scattered thoughts & happenings of a young person out and about on the town - partaking of the night life ...and hiding within herself..."behind a different mask".....Good work, & yes, very deep. That's why it may seem hard to follow...it's deliberately scattered because her experience was also scattered....Maybe? Oh, by the way, I sent you a lengthy E-mail....let me know you received it ok, I'm toying with a new MailLink I've never used before....want to make sure you got it before I leave town....Lots of love, Gen ------------------ - poet FemmeFatale "The strongest man in the world is he who stands most alone..."
