Seperated by creed and color Forbidden by eyes to love one another There is a bond that no one can see Invisible from eyes, from you and from me Walking with their heads held high Setting their goals right for the sky Unprejiduced eyes are their light Join us now lets join their fight. *maybe as a poet we see that there should be no color lines. We all try to accept but in truth prejudice still lives. Let us all join together our pens and speak out against hatred, for with out the other man,(woman) we could not really call each other friend.* |

Most excellent job! I totally agree, there is still prejudice in the world. It a shame. I have joined my pen by writing of this subject in a poem called "Colors." |
