I don't have a sister, but sometimes it seems a friend can do the same. Good job.

Very emotional. I haven't been through this, but I could tell just how you felt. I hope your sister realizes getting to that top rung of the ladder will not make her truly happy.

Thanks Elizabeth, it has been a lifelong battle for me...I now see the truth however, and it has truly set me free of the pain. My sister hasn't seen this poem, so if you know her don't say anything, ha,ha!!

I have no siblings, but my wife comes from a family of 10 kids (6 girls) and I don't think any of them have that great of a relationship towards each other. It's a sad state of affairs that your poem addresses. I hope your sister will one day harken the call of a sister's heart. Well done.
