tick tock goes the clock
on the wall, in my hall
counting minutes
and hours
and days
and years
iron hands that measure time

oaken shell, time's covering
curved glass
bubbled and shadowed
all holding time in a loving embrace
tick tock
clock

time
in my hall
on the wall
