Encouraging words
And a love-longing heart
Is this all that's needed
For a romantic start?

For what is love
But an oft taken chance
To see yourself worshipped
inside another's glance

A cynic's view
I'll readily confess
But humans are selfish
And their lives such a mess

Too cruel to be true?
Too hard to consider?
Just ask the divorcee
And those cold and bitter

A nice point to share...it is scary when you start worshipping someone...and yes, we can be a "mess", however, we can also be some of the most beautiful & caring creatures that breathe...it's hard sometimes to stay focused on "behaving" like we'd want others to behave...it's much easier being evil - and more fun too!!

And no such thing as divorce?

Hi! Thanks for comments. The interesting thing is that I'm in a relationship with the most sensitive, loving great guy I've ever met. Sounds like a cliche, but it is true!
(That's not to say he's perfect, though!). I just think there are so many hurting people all over our planet, it's hard to think of sometimes.
