Once upon a mystic night
I dreamt that I had taken flight
Off to a land so pure and true
Off to a land...just me and you.

We walked along a crystal stream
By night we loved - by day we'd dream
Of all things great and small and true
Of blissful things - of me and you.

We slept beneath the silky air
I reached for you...and you were there
To pull me close - caress my soul
You left me breathless - You made me whole...

I'm bringing this one back because I'd like a bit more input on it...at one time it was one of my favorites, but maybe it's not so great !

I hadn't seen it before...I'm glad you brought it back. I assume it was one of your favorites because of what it made you feel...and now it 'may not be so great' because of what others feel. Don't fall into that trap. If you think it's great....it is. Other peoples comments, or lack of, should not change how you feel about your work. Enough soapbox talk from me. Don't you ever worry about input as long as I'm around!

Now listen here missy! (does that sound like your old sweet grannie?)...you are one of the better poets around...I like all your stuff. It's a shame when something as good as this gets buried...glad you resurrected it!
