I'm letting go of skies not blue of prayers not answered - of me and you... I'm letting go of fairy-tale dreams of songs of love - of hidden things. I'm letting go all thoughts of you when we were one - but now we're two. I'm letting go the hopes I had I'm smiling though - not looking sad. I'm letting go of love so right we could have had - all through the night... I'm letting go of memories that try to shine - on lonely seas. I'm letting go of you my dear I'll say "So long..." without one tear......... ------------------ - poet FemmeFatale "The strongest man in the world is he who stands most alone..." Henrik Ibsen (1826-1906) Norwegian dramatist lyric poet |

Reminds me of something a dear friend of mine went through...wonderful job. It shows a lot of hope and strength. ------------------ *Krista Knutson* "It's a crazy thing, fate has perfect wings..."-Deanna Carter |

Hey thanks for the reply.actually the poem that you read was a modified version of one I had written 6 years ago. when I split with my wife.I can identify with with what you said.its truely amazing how for some of us how we can take lifes hurts, and heartaches, and turn them around, and create such wonderful poems.your poem letting go was beautiful. well spoken.I liked it very much.this world would be much nicer if more people could do this! |

This is lovely, I like the way it flows and it really moves me. (Thanks for your enthusiasm for my poem 'Seaside Cell" - it's very special to me.) |
