The first thing he noticed, he said to her “were your hands, soft and smooth”. Now, this didn’t make much sense but time has passed, and hence she knew what he meant to say, oh sure. Soft and smooth, and young then, all right but not any more, certainly not tonight. Old they are, with wisdom wise so before you leave this ditty, be apprised for what those hands have held, you may be surprised. Those hands have held flowers, pebbles, and snails, kittens, valentines and puppy dog tails. They have held on to bloody knees, hair ribbons, rubber bands and buzzing bees. They have held on to more than you, Please! They have stroked warm brows and held aching hearts worn have comforted others, and cuddled new-born; have weathered time, and dried some tears, and you thought those hands just held years. Oh no, my love, here’s where the wisdom comes; they know how to ease, comfort, and place love where it should be, and then some. Do you want to know more, read on, my sweet for they have even massaged tired, sore feet. The biggest thrill those hands have, dear is when they comfort you when you are near. They can take your muscles and relax them complete by rippling down your pecs, hard, roving, neat. Massage is the best, it can’t be beat. And when they are done with your back those hands can go on another attack. They can take your head, the one on your shoulders and make jello from what feels like boulders. But here is where they get a bit bolder. Those hands can meet at thumbtips wide spread and from the tips of your toes to the top of of your head they will make you wonder if you are dead because heaven must feel like this. So, when the hands are done, then comes, the kiss. ------------------ Sunshine Words will always express our feelings true. ~~~ KRJ Look, then, into thine heart, and write ~~~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow |

Hey, this is really good! And a really individualistic stance you have taken on the topic too. |

This is a beautiful poem. I't sounds like to me a person that has lived many years and done many things. |
