That Sheriff, he's a tricky one
He'll take your love but then he'll run
You're better off with Robin Hood
He'll take your love and treat you good...

Fine one M'Lady!

I'm not familar with your lovely brute, but I can't figure out how you have time for tv when digging, digging, digging the pages of this forum. Giving all the poets here a second chance. I commend you for your constant vigile to this task. You are truely amazing and a wonderful member of this family. Thanks for all your work.

That evil Sheriff of Naughtyham
Treats the ladies like a lamb.
Would Robin Hood do just as good?
I'll tell you, Elvira. He Sherwood!

That lovely brute indeed puts in a masterly performance that you rightly adore... "wicked" as we Brits would say... and he's especially evil in his alluring attire... aha, seems 'tis the villains of the piece you adore, elvira

Dear Elvira, I must thank you because just two days previously I was struggling to remember the name of the Sheriff....(though my reference was to Die Hard)

With appreciation.

elvira! Your name fits you well,
You love the villains who give hell
A bad name and make's us angels mad.
You imp of Satan! I hope you're glad!

Neat poem, kind lady. I really never woulda guessed you to be a femme fatale rooting for the bad guys. A woman of many facets... interesting.

LOL - A "Die Hard" fan indeed.....
Did you know that Alan Rickman has a website??
I don't recall whether I bookmarked it or not, but a general search should uncover it...
p.s. - I think he's a fantastic actor as well..

You sure fooled me. I'll have to write a little more raunchy, salacious, ribold, unchaste or scurrilous.
