(from the Challenge Forum) When I packed and moved out that day you said I’d never make it on my own that no one would ever want or love me, I’d spend the rest of my life alone. I carried your words heavily in my heart a silent challenge, a simple vow. It gives me great pleasure to say those words have no meaning now. My life is nothing like you predicted; though alone, I choose to be, now I can forgive your declaration for those words have set me free. |

great topic, way to go. We should never let someone that would treat us that way control our lives even after they are gone. You go girl. We guys can be real jerks sometimes. Let me apologize for the male gender. jfreak |

Poet What a great way to say that you're stronger than he thought. And your not alone either judging from your many friends here. Great poem. (sandman) |

I know the best way to get a man to do something is to tell him he can't do it. Guess it works that way for the ladies, too. Fine as always, deVine one. |

I liked this, I have been there, where a guy told me no-one would ever want me after I broke up with him. I believed him for a long time and thought I was worthless and undesirable....that lingered with me for years and years.... nice poem It was truly DEVINE!!!!!!
