In pondering our days of yore Life's truths we've met at every door. Each lesson more profound than last Our souls the sum of all days past. Thence wisdom may we recognize To view the world through clearer eyes, And hope that e'er each 'morrow brings Us vanquished plight on splendent wings. |

Thanks guys..... I need some of this stuff lately..... ------------------ Nay, if our wits run the Wild-Goose chase, I am done: For thou hast more of the Wild-Goose in one of thy wits, Than I am sure I have in my whole five. ~ ²1592 Wm. Shakespeare ~ Romeo & Juliet ~ ii. iv. 75 |

This poem reminds me of Longfellow's "Rainy Days," one of my favorite of all favorites. Beautiful, Nan. I can't wait to get you cornered. Gonna bring my thickest notebook. |

Nan, I think I look for your stuff just because you always find the correct picture to make your poems contain both forms of art. Well done, friend. ------------------ Sunshine Words will always express our feelings true. ~~~ KRJ Look, then, into thine heart, and write ~~~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow |
