If these restaraunt walls could talk
of who in through their doors did walk

you'd be left with mouth agape
scratching your head like a hairy ape

Not to be bold, for I may be amiss
but if these walls could speak, they'd say something like this...

Aretha Franklin ate here once, that diva sure had sole
and not the kind that sings the blues; t'was the fish served in a bowl

Bruce Springsteen ate here many times, so I don't think it a fluke
that the boss can't hold his liquor down, just 3 drinks and he'd puke...

Frank Sinatra, Bono too, had martinis in that booth.
They disagreed about soup-de-jour, and both men lost a tooth

I recall a visit from Sly Stallone, I learned to my dismay
The guys as bald as a baby's bum - he wears a black toupee!

Maddona created quite a stir the first time she was here
As she used her pointy bustier to open up her beer!

Dimaggio and Ruth were known to have a lot of class
but I don't know which one was biggest, Joe's nose or Babe's big @$$

Yes only if the walls could talk... what stories they have seen
Of drinkies drank and drunkards dropped
on 54th and Queen

Since I don't get out much, do you have the name of the place? Or is it just a figment of my imagination? Good job..enjoyed the jabs.

I ate once at the Sunshine Inn.
It really was a treat
But, since it was in KANSAS,
They just served corn and wheat!
