"Conductor,Composer, Company Commander" CLOSE LIKE CATTLE SILENT LIKE PRISONERS FOLLOWING, WAITING,WATCHING. SOME VOLUNTEERED TO FILL COMPANY POSITIONS. WHILE OTHERS, LIKE MYSELF, HOPED TO AVOID HIS POINTED FINGER. HE STABBED THE STRONG BODIED AND SLICED THOSE WITH HARDENED FACES CREATING LIMBS FROM(AND FOR)THE MASS OF MEN. HE WAS CONDUCTING AN ORCHESTRA, COMPOSING PIECE BY PIECE, SO THAT BY EIGHT WEEKS END HE'D RECEIVE APPLAUSE FOR HAVING WHOOPED OUR ASSES WITH HIS WAND. |

mmmm....I really liked this piece. Living near a military base my entire life, I feel I almost understand. (Note the usage of the word almost!!) ------------------ For sometimes when the Darkness falls, we must surrender, take what is ours, and give what we can, and always remember love is somewhere waiting... |
