Goodbye

What I must do, hurts me so,
I have no choice, not one.
It doesn’t matter, how much I love,
Only that, you want you’re fun.

I have waited, and patiently loved,
Hoping that, you would see,
That I love you so, for all time.
So what I do, isn’t easy for me.

My heart is breaking, tearing apart,
I try to look away, to let you go.
My dreams, my life, are all about you.
I cry, I weep, I love you so.

I need strength, a miracle,
The courage to accept you’re gone.
I only wish I could find a reason,
To walk away, and move on.

Someday, when our paths cross again,
No matter the time, from here till now.
The tear you see, in my eye,
Is from this day, that I say goodbye.

i loved your poem, and ive been there before. it hurt to let go of someone when youve spent so much of your soul loving them. i think it was the hardest thing ive ever done. great job on your peom it was beautiful!

OH MY GOD!
I have never really felt a poem as much as I just felt yours. I really think that You should send this poem to survivors. It is an inspirational poem that could help people move on. My friend cried too.
