blue moon ever hear the phrase "once in a blue moon" and wondered from where it came and what it meant? it is the occurence of two full moons in the same month - the second being the "blue moon." blue moons are quite rare only occuring every few years. therefore, they are special much as love is special. our love is like a blue moon. rare, quiet, deep and cool. and with each passing day it becomes deeper still as we learn more about each other. ours is also a passionate love. one which burns icy hot, blue much as that found in the center of a flame. and yet elusive as the old blue moon. it is so rare, so beautiful and should be cherished. just as blue moons are unique, so is this love you and i share. therefore, it should be cherished - never taken forgranted. ~ celtic rose, 1999 ~ |
