The angel in us

One beautiful moonlit night,
The stars were shining exceptionally bright.
A beautiful child was born into this world.
Annie was the name given to this special baby girl.

Little Annie had beautiful dark green eyes.
Eyes that sparkle and light up all the time.
But a horrible accident changed her life.
Now her eyes can no longer sparkle or shine.

Annie's colorful world turned into darkness.
The once cheerful and lively girl became
withdrawn and despondent.
Annie cooped herself up in her room all day long.
Crying silent tears,wondering what she had done wrong.

At that moment,
Annie felt someone touch her hand.

"Dont cry,my child",a gentle voice said.
"What you see is what you perceive it to be.
Nothing in this world lasts for long.
One moment it's here,then another it's gone.
See with your heart,not with your eyes.
Just like memories,they'll never die.
You have a beautiful soul and a heart of gold.
That is the greatest form of beauty anyone could ever know.
There are many people like you,people who needs help too.
Guide them,be their angel,just like I am to you.
Remember,God loves you just the way you are ..."

With that,the voice faded away.

Hope filled Annie's hollow heart once again.
She felt at peace and gone were the pain.
Annie's finally found the key to happiness.

Remember.Never give up on hope.
Hope never dies.They are hidden somewhere in our hearts.
Sometimes,people just needs to hear comforting words,
To know that they are being cared for.
The angel is in us.Bring out that angel in you.
You'll be amazed at the things you can do.
