I never knew that fateful day That I would fall upon the grass. I couldn’t skin my knee, not me, I fell upon my ass. There rose a bruise so bright and gay it shone all black and blue. I remember saying shucks and darn and other swear words too. I sat on ice the whole day long and pondered on my fate This is the first and last time I try to rollerskate! I walk with a limp, (a kind of drag) to get from here to there. My legs are tired from walking cause I can’t even sit in a chair! I’ll be back to work before long and finish out the week, But please remember, when greeting me, don’t pinch my poor left cheek! |

You've written that all to well for it now to be true! Or at least drawn from a similar experience! I bid a quick mend to you! PW P.S. Check out "Circumventing Left Buttock" as posted on our web page! ------------------ Poetic Wheelbarrow http://sites.netscape.net/poetwheel |
