where were you way back then when I was
loving you?
where are you now that you are gone?
was it really love,or just a dance,and a
song?
where were you when the committment was
made?
where are you now that I feel so betrayed?
I feel such sorrow you'll never know how
much.
sometimes for you I feel it(our love)was
just a crutch.
where are you now that I am not there to
hold you close,and stroke your hair,or
even show you that I still care.
each day I look out from the void.
seven years gone by,and I still ask myself
was it true,or just a lie.the answer only
you hold.only you're not saying anything.
I was never told.
where are you that person I thought I knew?
where were you that person with whom I grew?
the answers I may never know.
where are you now doing your dance, and song?
where are you doing it now that I am gone?
for one thing is for sure I will keep going
on.

this was a modified version of a poem I had
written a couple of years ago. just thought
I would post it,and see what kind of feedback
I would get.
