A Sad Ending Darkness surrounds And the baby cries Her mother made her the victim Of a life made up of lies A father never knowing Just what love could be Until he helped to make This innocent baby Except it already was too late The damage already done Never would this family Ever live as one Because the darkness is for the mother Who could take no more She swallowed all those pills And then she locked the door The father though he tried It already was too late After he realized his love She acted on her hate Hush baby hush Now daddy is gone too Too bad they never realized Their selfishness hurt only you. ------------------ Let my words fall first upon deaf ears before a closed mind... |

Please tell me there are six of you sitting around writing these poems. Because I don't believe that so much can be written so well by one person. |

Good work! Could you write a tribute to a baby on the way? ------------------ Poetic Wheelbarrow http://sites.netscape.net/poetwheel |
