Lord, how I love when the sun shines on me And to bask in the warmth by the sea, To listen to waves that are crashing like thunder, And drink 'Pina Coladas' for free. Watching kids building sandcastles hour by hour, Just to have them destroyed by the tide, And the surfers who ride on the crest of a wave, just going along for the ride. And pretending I'm reading a book on the Arts, With dark shades hiding my eyes, All the while I am peeking at girls walking by, With their pretty and inviting ...smiles! When the sun sinks and touches the magic horizon, It's the time to pack up the day, Hey! "Open your eyes Wolf" you're dreaming again! Shit! I'm stuck in the traffic again. Lord it's good to be able to dream for a while, And pretend that I bask by the sea, But especially good is the line that I thunk? With the 'Pina Coladas' for free! |
