Okay everyone, i just got some "NEWS" so this poem sounds somewhat "immature" compared to some of my others...guess it's my giddiness! My Special Someone I woke up this morning with you inside of me It felt good to have someone else around, Someone besides just me My friends say that I should get rid of you That having you around will only stop me from reaching anywhere in life But I'll prove them all wrong I've waited a long time for someone like you to come in my life I guess the things that we always hope for, Find a way of showing up when we least expect it As the days drag into weeks and weeks into months, Our relationship becomes stronger while my friends pull away, Finding excuses to stay out of our lives But I don't mind I love you And I know you will grow to love me too I feel a rush of liquid inside me as you finally pull out The pain of my first time overwhelms me, And I hear your cries mixing with my own When it is all over, I cradle you in my arms Gazing into your beautiful blue eyes, Eyes much like my own I made the right decision, I think to myself Stroking your wet hair My special someone, My baby |
