I’ve consecrated my life To the construction and destruction Of this unhealthy union As the self-amputated members Begin to discover their errors The sun sets black on a darker sky No fiery impulse coming from the colder climates Seeks to renew this burning blood I stole this body, this head, these arms That I use to murder them in their beds Beds of scarlet hyacinth burning blood As they move closer and closer still To their grave, grave doubts befall them They deny it, but deserve it not, This indoctrinated drama of burning blood I will not equivocate, I will not excuse I will not flee to the North Star I will be heard The divorce of greatness, the incompatible tempers Befalls me, follows me All night, all night forever |
