As we cross this bridge of heart and soul,
Our mind’s our cars, our heart’s our toll,
We bear no gifts for rainy days,
Your beauty leads me through life’s maze,
I could hold you in my arms forever,
Your words precise, your movements clever,
Your tone is so delightful and your words so very sweet,
In my heart you are the drummer keeping up the beat,
Whisper to me all the words that I have longed to hear,
If one day we should part, love for you would remain here.
