A piece of your mind and none of your heart That's all you gave me right from the start. I should have ignored you, instead I hung around Thinking you'd love me, I was spellbound. One day I saw clouds and knew there’d be rain But did not imagine there’d be so much pain. Pain fell upon me one drop at a time Flooding my life, no sun would shine. I stood in a puddle with my feet soaking wet. Your stinging words I’d never forget. And to think it all started with one drop of pain Changing my life so it’s never been the same. |

Dream, Thanks and glad u found a connection with it. As background....it was raining when i wrote this. I find it easy to write in the rain. There is so much to experience if you open urself up to it. ~Genea |
