How about a forum for the posting of acts and scenes from dramatical works some of the poets here might have simply lying around the house gathering dust? Alicat |

Yes, I agree Alicat. In fact there may be a number of different types of written works that may be lying around gathering dust. I wonder what other people are interested in reading and what they may have stored in the old attic? Unfortunately my writing hasn't gotten up to plays. It will be interesting to find out who reads what and what else is being written. LOL. ------------------ Julie ------------------------- Thou who has given so much to me, give one thing more: a grateful heart. >George Herbert |

One of the main reasons for opening the Prose in Poetry forum, of course, was to account for the non-poetic forms for writing. If we have enough people interesting in scriptwriting, we can certainly consider it. How about it, guys? How many of you are there are out there? |

Well Ron...I've written 3 one-acts, one monologue, and a dramatic interpretation. I'm still working on two other plays...as soon as I can pick up the thread again... After reading Bob's Scene I, I had the idea for a forum just for plays, with the Title, Act, and Scene displayed in the subject bar, for ease of keeping track of the play in progress. This would also allow for critiques and suggestions for fine-tuning, although I know there will be a lot of 'generic' replies. Alicat |
