hi!..fellow poets

...i saw this in a reply of one of are own poets...but i think also...that if it is possible that the poems that are read in are forums...if there can be the "number of people reading it" besides the replys...just to know even though it isnt replyed that it is able to show the people who at least read the poems by silent heart...

i'm addicted to passions in poetry!...are you?

sighhhhhh...aa...but then someone would be comparing how many read theirs to someone elses..and still would come away feeling bad..or every time they clicked on their poem it would appear as if it was read and would raise the number...the problem is... Poetry should not be competitive in a site where it is for pleasure. There will always be someone who isn't happy or is dissatisfied and will take the low numbers personally...the idea is to express oneself and share, not see who and how many respond. And if you feel at any time that one of your poems "slipped by" without responses...have a friend respond to it for you to bring it forward..I don't think there is anything wrong if you happened to have posted at a time where it wasn't noticed for whatever reason and you feel you want it to have another chance. I also have my numbers set on 200 to a page not 25 so I can definitely see the majority of poems posted new that day..maybe some need to do that in order to be exposed to all that are recent. Again...thanks for the chance to express my views...

Yea i'd like having how many people read my poem as well...in an old forum i use to go to (before i found this one) they had the amount of replies and amount of people who read it and it didnt seem to be a problem with people if one person got more notice then anothers. I'd just like to know cuz even if people arent replying to my poems and just reading i'd like to know so i feel like it atleast got some recognition.
