I want to thank Julie for prompting this new forum. And as so often happens with me, my sincerest thanks take the form of asking someone to work harder.  I hope everyone will welcome Passion's newest Moderator…You know, the truth is it just never occurred to me people wouldn't make suggestions on improving Passions? Those who've been around for a while know that most everything here, even the rules we live by, were suggested by others. Not me. All I ever do is write code and, once in a great while, a few poems. But if we need a special forum set aside just for suggestions, then so be it. And I think Julie has shown she has the courage and ardor to make it into a valuable room in our growing house. And, to be honest, the timing couldn't be better. Most of you already know I've arranged for the forums to soon be moved to its own dedicated server, splitting it off from the main site and giving it a home of its own. Some of you may not realize that move is going to be accompanied by a whole lot of changes in our little home. I've been programming furiously since the new release of our software, adding what I think are the features needed by poets - and by family - in order to feel comfortable in their home. In retrospect, I guess that was arrogant of me. I should, instead, be asking you what you want. So, I'm asking… |
