Ambiguous statements Concealed in verse. Revealed at last Or is it at first? Showing true meaning To those who would see. In plain sight of all Consistently . A game is a-foot Craig has the tools . Referring to poets as Oft' times the fools . Shall we play a few times To see where it leads ? I expect I'll be bested Continually . Abusing this format Could be in bad taste . Reaching for meanings Obscured by such waste . Still I am tempted To tackle this task . In your number how many Care to play were they asked ? Severed moorings Hold no sway . Away , cast off , be free . Let others in safe harbours stay Leave shore to ply the seas . Watchful of the shoals close in Each vessel sounding depth . Bold manuevers Early on , make for certain death . Glorious sights await our craft Islands fine as jewels Never a thought we may all be daft ( could these be ships of fools ? ) ------------------ |

I see you have managed to add Acrostic poetry to your list of achievements, and a very fine example this is. Well done ( again ). ------------------ Yes, I admit your general rule. That every poet is a fool: But I myself may serve to show it. That every fool is not a poet. |
