A Silent Angel

A silent angel came to me
speaking to me through
golden eyes of wisdom.

I felt my soul quiver
as her overwhelming message
pierced my mind.

I struggled to understand
the depth of silence
her wisdom had spoken.

Looking through my layers
she found the missing link
connecting heart, and soul.

My angel connected
God's link of love,
for me to share with you.

Did you really hear from an angel, LD? I truly believe in angels!

I like the lines, "the depth of silence/her wisdom had spoken".... that's very well written.... because it makes you think! How can silence speak? Excellent choice of words.

This is a wonderfully written piece, I agree with Doreen, your word choices here are excellent, compelling the reader to stop and think just a bit.

Doreen: Thank-you for reading, and replying. To answer your question, no I did not see, but I know he, or she was here putting words into place with me, cause the part you like the most made me think too of how can it be, yet it felt so right. Sometimes we have to follow a stronger voice, even if it's silent.
