They say you came From up above, To guide us with your fathers love. They say you walked here long ago, To teach us so that we would know. They say you hung upon a tree, and that you died for them and me. They say your coming back because you have a plan. They say you'll take us with you,I don't understand. I have alot of questions,too many to try and list. How do I know their right,that you really do exist? They say it is the bible,because you told us so. I have a problem believing,an author I do not know. Why is it people suffer,and hurt so bad each day? If this is who you are, I'll be glad when you go away. I know this will probley make alot of people mad. But,I know there's more just like me,that have questions like I"ve had. DBeth ------------------ |

I don't know how to reply to this, although I want to - poetically, it's a great piece....the content, well, I have to answer like this...Everyone needs something to believe in - whether it's a god, a spiritual world, the Bible.....believing in something "better or higher" gives humans a reason to live & "try"...because we believe, it gives us faith....it gives us hope when there doesn't seem to be any....if nothing more, it gives us reason to exist. Thank you Poet,for the comment. I didn't really think anyone would reply.I don't see anything to all powerful to believe in.I am one that has to see to believe.As always,I enjoy reading your comments. |
