You make me think of cozy fireplaces warmth drawing me in Comfort and laughter enter the room on either side of you I am always glad to see you there and miss you when you go yet like logs in the fire the flames may slow to glow but the light remains for a while like the smile you give me… brandy-like it chases away the chill of the outside world I revel in its magic… keep it close to my heart hoping it will melt the icicle fence left behind from winters past I go to sleep, the sound of slowly dissolving snow ever-present in my dreams caroline 1999 all rights reserved ------------------ The only man worth your tears will never make you cry... |
