does it hurt you that he loves me,
with all of his soul,
that all of your memories,
he chooses not to know?

does it hurt you that he needs me,
more than anything in this world,
that he gives me everything he has,
and that i have his baby girl?

does it hurt you that he sayed goodbye,
before your heart learned to let go,
it was a long hard hell he says,
loving you, you know.

does it make you cry at night,
to know he sleeps with me,
he holds my body and soul so tight,
hes content, but you cant see.

that the heartache that you gave him,
wouldnt keep him holding on,
hes exactly where he wants to be,
and why do you think its wrong?

does my smile hurt you,
to know he makes me happy,
to see this ring on my finger,
him holding our baby?

why cant you just move on,
youve lived in yesterday to long,
and im sorry your hurting so bad,
but his heart, youll never have.

Very well done. This poem brings about the both sides so well. It seems as though you are almost gloating, but also it shows the tenderness of your heart to that person to. At least that is how I see it. (I lean more towards you gloating than being compassionate) It is always sad when a person is so stuck in the past that they miss their future. Well done.
