Delightful Evening

He designed your evening
welcoming familiar faces
as music set the mood.

The decorated appetizer tray
consisted of delightful
treats for hungry palettes.

His enhanced salad
prepared with garden treasures
tossed pleasantly together.

The carefully crafted main course
with tender cuts of meat
melted like candy upon our tongues.

The sinful chocolate souffle
he presented at midnight
iced the evening with sheer delight.

You must be a chef...I cook for a living though prefer catering to line cooking and I really like this poem of yours.

Now I'm hungry...smiles. Actually, the imagery in this was nice. It spoke of food, but so much more too.

Rubba dub dub, here comes the grub! Sounds like a wonderful meal. Ya know, I could read this one of two ways... Am I just being a bad person, or what? Again, a very fine read and lunch is two hours away.

WildChild: Far from a chef am I, unless burnt cuisine is your pleasure. Thanks for reading glad you liked it.

Hoot: Thank-you, it's funny how you can write something one way, yet not see all it has to offer till someone else reads it.

Andrew: What shall I do with you? You have me curious as to what your thinking here, it is a purely innocent food poem as far as I know. Care to enlighten me, as to your visions. Thanks for reading, and responding. You made me laugh once again by bringing in the grub.I guess I should be glad it was not a spider, or centipede, just a slimy, slithery grub.

Sounds like the man has pleased the woman with gastronomic delights. Nice picture.

Dreamer: I'm going to plead the 5th because this just isn't the forum for those caveman thoughts. Lets just say that the intimate side of the bed sheets can make for a wonderful buffet.
