faded flowers

do you remember
when you said I was the light of your life
and I was the one who filled your arms
with delight?

do you remember our kisses,
and how I ran my fingers through
your hair, and memorized every inch
of you with my touch?

do you remember when you tucked
flowers behind my ears
and we laughed and ran until we fell
and made love in the grass?

do you remember when we were one,
our eyes locked together in desire,
no other would suffice, and you
just could not get enough of me?

do you rememember my touch,
one time lover of mine, because
I am finally starting to not remember
yours....
