Every look drags you lower Til depths of sadness are reached And the pain of the dagger Leaves your maind helpless and bleached Sweet water calms the sorrows As it rushes through the veins For it flows towards tomorrow Washing away the pain A hollowness is your shelter For it has stolen what you preached And darkness appears nearer While you tumble to the beach Sweet water gives us comfort Cleanses with tender rain Guides us to the right port Where hope is what we gain ------------------ Great men are they who see that spiritual is stronger than any material force, that thoughts rule the world |
